The 'B' team ended 2016 with a 2.5 - 1.5 loss at Crewe 'C'. We should have won the match but I blundered away a fantastic position on board 1, where I was 2 pawns up and winning easily, but got carried away and allowed a winning counter attack that I should have easily prevented. On a bright note, I did actually collect the South Cheshire Shield, which we won this year. We now just need to get the Club's name engraved on it.
