The 'C' team ended a very disappointing season in Division 4 with a 2.5 - 1.5 loss at home to Crewe 'C'. This was our 10th loss from 12 matches and we have finished a very distant bottom, with only 3 points to show for our efforts. Mike got a very good win on board 1 and Ernie followed up with a draw on board 2 but we were unable to get anything out of the bottom two boards. Click here to view the match score card.

'A' Team Continue To Improve But 'C' Team Woes Continue
The 'A' team scored their second successive win in Division 2 last night with an excellent 3 - 2 away victory against a strong Macclesfield team. We got off to a bad start, with Rob losing very quickly and then me blundering (again !!), to go 2 - 0 down. However, Glyn and Ray both got very good wins on boards 1 and 3 to put us level before Kasian gave us the points with a win on board 4 in a very laborious endgame. We are still bottom but, with 2 matches still to play, we are only 2 points behind the team in 4th place so there is still everything to play for.
