Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Florence Tennis & Bowling Club Subscriptions
Beginning in March, which is when your FTBC subscriptions are due, there will be a new class of membership replacing the Social Membership that we currently pay. This will be called Chess Membership and will sit alongside the Tennis Membership and Bowls Membership sections that the club currently has. The cost of the Chess Membership will be £15 per year - an increase of £5 on what you currently pay but still very reasonable for the facilities that we enjoy. I haven't discussed a reduced rate for Seniors yet but as soon as I have I'll let you all know.
