Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Community Cafe within the old Fenton Town Hall in Albert Square, Fenton, ST4 3AF. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to Grandmaster. We meet on Monday evenings from 7:00 until 10:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. 'B' Team Slip Up Again
The 'B' team slipped up again last night. A 2.5 - 1.5 loss against Crewe 'C' sent us down to 3rd in the table and the title now looks like it's drifting away from us. We were marginally outgraded on every board but had every chance of winning the match. A win for Ernie on board 3 and a draw for me on board 1 wasn't enough to get us anything out of the match.
