Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. 'A' Team No Show
An unfortunate oversight on my part meant that the 'A' team failed to appear for their match at Newcastle 'C' last night. I had confused the dates with a 'B' team match against Newcastle next week and, consequently, didn't organise a team. No excuses - it was my fault. We have conceded the match - it will not be re-scheduled.
