Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 23:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Club Championship
The draw for the first round of the Club Championship will be made in the next few days, although you have until the end of January to play it. Can I PLEASE ask you to make arrangements between yourselves to get your matches played. I do not have the time to keep chasing people to arrange a date. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, any matches not played by the due date will be treated as defaults by both players. Click here to view the list of entrants to date. Anybody who has not yet entered has until Sunday to do so.
