It was disappointment for the Club tonight in the Perry Trophy Final, going down by 2.5 - 1.5 against Alsager. Robert West's recent run of good form continued when he put us into the lead with a 14 move win on board 4. However, losses on boards 2 and 3 consigned us to the runners-up spot, with Ernie getting a consolation draw on board 1. Click here for the full match score card.
In the last of the 3rd round Club Championship matches Mike drew with Joe. The 4th round draw should be out in the next couple of days.
