Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. 2014 British Championship Underway
The 2014 British Championship got under way in Aberystwyth yesterday and will run until 2nd August. David Howell, the defending Champion, got off to a winning start with a straightforward win with the black pieces and is the bookies favourite to retain his title.
