Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. More Cup Disappointment For Fenton
There was more Cup disappointment for Fenton last night, losing for the second time this week. This time it was a narrow 2.5 - 1.5 loss at Cheddleton in the Perry Cup Final. There were draws on boards 1, 3 and 4 for Geoff, Ernie and Robert but, unfortunately, a loss from Jason on board 2 was enough to give Cheddleton the match.
