Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Fenton Finish With A Flourish
Fenton 'A' wound up the club's season last night with a 4 - 1 win against a weakened Cheddleton 'C'. Nonetheless, this has been an excellent finish to the season for the 'A' team. Following an abysmal start to the season we finished with 5 wins and a draw from our last 7 matches to finish 6th in the table. Wins for Alex, Rob and Mike on boards 1,2 and 5, plus draws for myself and Neal on boards 3 and 4, gave us a comfortable victory. Click here to view the full match score card.
