I’ve only had a limited number of replies about preferred dates
in September for the 20th Anniversary Dinner and from those that I
have had there is no Saturday when everybody is free. I have, therefore, taken
it on myself to make an executive decision and the Dinner will be held on
Saturday 4th October. I’ve looked into going to the Old Plough in
Etruria where we had our first Christmas Dinner but it has changed hands and
not for the better. It only opens until 9:30 and, having eaten there a couple
of weeks ago, I can tell you that the food is definitely sub-standard. So we
will hold it at the Westbury Tavern in Clayton again. Obviously
wives/girlfriends/partners are very welcome so can you please let me know as
soon as possible whether you will be attending and how many of you there will
be. Once I know how many are coming I’ll start collecting deposits.

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
