Fenton 'C' Beat Division 5 Champions
The 'C' team beat this year's Division 5 Champions, Meir 'D', by 2.5 - 1.5 last night. Draws on boards 1, 2 and 4 for Mike, Stuart and John, plus yet another win for Ernie on board 3 gave us the points. The 'D' team may well rue not being able to field a team last Friday as a win then, plus a win in their final match, would have given them the title by a point.
