Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club Home Page. We are based at the Gables Pub, 450 Trentham Road, Blurton, ST3 3DS. Although we are no longer based in Fenton we have retained the name. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to Grandmaster. We meet on Monday evenings from 7:30 until 10:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate younger children. Older children (12+) MUST be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

'D' Team Notch Up Another Win
The 'D' team beat Division 5 leaders Meir 'D' by 3 - 1 this evening - Meir's first loss of the season. We have now moved up to 2nd place in the table, just a point behind Meir but with two matches in hand. Derek lost a hard fought game on board 1 against an opponent graded 20 points higher than him. Robert and Stuart both scored their first wins of the season on boards 2 and 3 whilst Steven also won on board 4 to continue his unbeaten start to the season.
