Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Fenton 'C' Team 'D' feated
In a surprise result in Division 5 earlier this evening the Fenton 'C' team were comprehensively beaten 3.5 - 0.5 by the 'D' team. Joe scored an early win on board 4, closely followed by Jason on board 2. Ernie's good run of form hit the buffers when he was beaten by Steven Walley on board 3. It was only a draw on board 1 for Mike Smith that saved the 'C' team from a complete whitewash. Click here to view the full match scorecard.
