Fenton 'A' were beaten 3 - 2 by Cheddleton 'B' in a very close fought match in Division 2 last night. 4 of the 5 games ended in draws but unfortunately, with both players in time trouble on board 1, Alex made a mistake and gave his Queen away and with it the match. Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
