I have also managed to speak to George and he is alive and well and now running a pub called Darcy's in Victoria Road - just round the corner from the old club. He'd be very pleased to see any of you who might want to drop in.
Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 23:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
