Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 23:00. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. 'C' Team Hold Meir 'C' To A Draw
The 'C' team picked up another point with an excellent draw at Meir 'C' last night. Jason was heavily outgraded on Board 1 and was unable to get anything out of his game. Stuart and Rob West both drew their games on Boards 2 and 3 and it was then left to Steven Walley, making his league debut on Board 4, to salvage a point with a good win against a more experienced player.
