Rapidplay Championship
Yours truly somehow managed to win tonight's Rapidplay Championship with a perfect score of 5/5. Quite how this happened is a mystery because, as everybody knows, I'm generally useless at any form of quick play chess. 9 players turned out for the tournament, which was played over 5 rounds, with Tony Holdford finishing 2nd on 4/5 and Jason Plant 3rd on 3.5/5. Thanks go to Alex Richardson for acting as Controller and ensuring that the event ran so smoothly.
