Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Fenton 'C' Finish With A Stutter
The 'C' team's season came to a disappointing end last night with a 2-2 home draw against the new Champions, Cheddleton 'E'. Our failure to record a single win in our last 3 matches cost us the title. The best we can hope for now is the runners up spot, but even that may still elude us if Cheddleton 'F' win their final match of the season. Wins for Geoff and Pete on Boards 3 and 4 gave us a share of the points.
