This year's Club Championship will be a 5 round Swiss competition held over 5 rounds during June/July/August. I have allocated 2 weeks for each round, except in August, when I have allocated 3 weeks. Normal NSDCA League timings will apply and, in the event of a tie, there will be a play-off consisting of 2 x 30 minute games. If this fails to produce a result then there will be an Armageddon game, with White having 6 minutes on the clock and Black having 5 minutes. White needs to win this game while Black only needs to draw.
The dates for each round have been entered on the Club Calendar. Please let me know by Friday 27th May if you will be entering. Please do NOT enter if you are unlikely to fulfill your games.This has caused multiple problems over the past few years, and if you enter then I need your commitment that you will play all of your games.

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
