A 2 - 2 draw at Alsager 'A' last night was enough to send the 'A' team to the top of Division 3 by half a game point from last night's hosts. The match should really have been won but Derek blundered on board 4 in a game that he looked to have won early on. Draws from myself and Mike on boards 2 and 3, plus another fine win by Glyn on board 1, gave us a share of the points. We are hoping to do better next Monday when we entertain Meir 'A'. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
