Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. South Cheshire Shield Result
Another good result in the South Cheshire Shield last night. A 3.5 - 0.5 win against Alsager saw us extend our lead at the top of the table to 5 points, with 3 matches remaining. An early win for Kasian on board 2 got us off to a good start, followed by a draw for Ernie 'Endgame' Wilkinson on board 3. Chris ensured that we took the points with a win on board 4 and I was last to finish with a win on board 1. Click here for the full match score card.
