Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. South Cheshire Shield Result
It was another good night in the South Cheshire Shield last night. A 3 - 1 win at Newcastle extended our lead at the top of the table. Wins for myself, Kasian and Chris on boards 1, 2 and 4 sealed the win. The legendary Ernie Wilkinson endgame failed to materialise on board 3. Click here for the match score card.
