Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. National Club Championships
The National Club Championships are being held somewhat closer to home this year - the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport. They are being held over the weekend of 9th/10th April and would involve playing 2 matches on each day. If anybody is interested in playing please let me know asap and I can look at the viability of entering a team in one of the sections. We have twice finished as runners-up in the Minor Section and it would be nice to finally go one better in either that or the Intermediate Section.
