Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Blood On The Carpet
Well, as predicted, there was blood on the carpet last night - most of it the 'C' team's as they were steamrollered 3.5 - 0.5 by the 'B' team. The 'B' team are now 3 points clear at the top of Division 4. There were wins for myself, Robert and Ernie for the 'B' team, while Neal's draw with Mike meant that the whitewash was avoided.
