Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Division 2 Debut Draw
The 'A' team marked their return to Division 2 with a hard earned 2.5 - 2.5 draw against Cheddleton 'C' last night in a match where we were outgraded on 4 out of the 5 boards. There were draws for Steve, Neal and Glyn on boards 2, 4 and 5. Ray was unlucky to lose on board 1 but Kasian saved the day (again !!) with a good win on board 3.
