Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Much Better Day For Rob
After a shaky start in the Weekend U150 tournament in the British Championships, Rob Taylor had a much better final day, winning both of his matches to finish on 3/5. We think that this makes him joint 4th but the final tables hadn't been published at the time of writing this. As Rob pointed out to me twice today "Form is temporary - class is permanent".
