Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Not As Bad As I Thought
Having seen the full results of the Rapidplay Jamboree we seem not to have done quite as badly as I first thought. The Open team were 5th out of 8 teams and the U130 team were joint 4th out of 8 teams. The full results can be viewed here. Ray had a particularly good win in the first round against Christoph Kammerer of Crewe and I will be publishing the game on the Members Games page in the next day or so.
