Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Summer Dinner
The original date of Saturday 25th July for the Summer Dinner was problematical for quite a few people. Having spoken to a lot of you since then, the best night appears to be Saturday 11th July so this is what we are going for although, inevitably, this still won't be good for a few of you. I will be booking a table at the Arch Restaurant in Newcastle for 8:00 so can everybody please confirm asap whether or not you will be attending. Unfortunately they don't do chicken nuggets, fish finger sandwiches or oat cakes so this rules Stuart out !!
