Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Newcastle Jamboree
We have entered 2 teams in this year's Newcastle Jamboree on Friday 3rd July. We have entered one team in the Open Section, comprising Ray, Rob, Kas and myself, and one team in the U130 Section, comprising Neal, Robert, Mike and Chris. If anybody else would like to organise a second team for the U130 Section then please let me know asap as space is limited.
