The 'A' team failed to get the point needed to win the Division 3 title when they were beaten 2.5 - 1.5 by Meir 'A' last night. Hard fought draws on boards 1, 2 and 3 by Rob, Danny and Kasian were offset by a loss on board 4 for Jason. Meir have now leapfrogged us to the top of the table and if we want to win the Division we now have to do it the hard way - we need to win at Stafford on the 6th May to take the title or draw to share it with Meir. The 'C' team drew their penultimate Division 5 match of the season against Meir 'C'. Wins for Mike on board 1 and draws for Ernie on board 2 and John on board 4 gave us a share of the points.
