Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Grandmaster Simultaneous Display
As part of Fenton Chess Club's 20th birthday celebrations, Grandmaster Keith Arkell will be giving a simultaneous display at the club on Monday 15th June. Keith is the current European Senior Champion and runner-up in the World Senior Championship. There will be a small board fee - amount still to be decided - for those of you who wish to play him. We will also be opening this to other local clubs so there will be limited availability. Can you please let me know as soon as possible whether you intend to play.
