It was an excellent night for the club last night with the 'A', 'C' and 'D' teams all in action, all winning and not a single loss in the whole of the 3 matches.
In Division 3 the 'A' team beat Cheddleton 'G' by 3 - 1, with wins for Mike and Kas on boards 3 and 4 and draws on boards 1 and 2 for Ray and Rob. Mike still has a 100% record after 3 matches, as does Kas after 6 matches. We can expect Kas's estimated grade to go up considerably at Christmas. Click here to view the full match scorecard. The 'A' team are now sitting in second place in the table on 6 points from 3 matches - 2 points behind Meir 'A' but with 2 matches in hand.
In Division 5 the 'C' team beat Cheddleton 'K' by 3.5 - 0.5. The result of the night was Ernie beating Colin Abell on board 1, with other wins on boards 3 and 4 from Robert and John and a draw for Geoff on board 2. Click here to view the full match scorecard. Also in Division 5, the 'D' team were away to Meir 'C' and came away with a 3 - 1 win courtesy of wins on boards 1 and 3 by the Chief Executive and the Finance Director, together with draws on board 2 and 4 for Steven and Pete. Click here to view the full match scorecard.

We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children.
