Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Fenton 'A' Off To A Flyer
Fenton 'A', minus their inspirational Captain who had relegated himself to the bench, proved far too strong for Kidsgrove in their opening Division 3 match last night. Kas got us off to a fine start on board 4 with his 4th successive win for the club. Rob and Mike followed up with wins on boards 2 and 3 and Ray scored an excellent draw with the black pieces on board 1 against a higher graded opponent. Click here to view the full match scorecard.
