Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Latest ECF Gradings Published
The January update to the ECF Grading List has now been published. As far as Fenton are concerned there were only some minor movements in the previously published gradings. The only thing of note to report is that Steven Walley now has an official grading of 91, as opposed to his estimated grading of 80. Please note that it is still the August list that is to be used for grade totalling purposes in league and cup matches, apart from Steven who will now have to use his official grade.
