Welcome to the Fenton Chess Club website. We are based at the Longton Snooker & Pool Club, 37 Normacot Road, Longton, ST3 1PL. We welcome players of all abilities, from beginner to experienced player. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 until 22:30. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young children. Rob & Steve Do Their Bit For The County
Rob and myself both played for the County U140 team against Worcestershire, the defending MCCU Champions, on Saturday afternoon. Rob scored a tremendous win on Board 2, whilst I played out a 14 move grandmaster draw on Board 14. Our 1.5 points contributed to an excellent 10-6 win for the team.
